These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Breadcrumb (the “Service”). By creating an account, sending content to the Service, or otherwise using Breadcrumb, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Breadcrumb is a private family memory archive that lets a household owner build a timeline for their children. Approved family members (“contributors”) can add notes, milestones, and photos by web, text message (SMS/MMS), or email. The household owner controls who may contribute and which submissions are kept.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

SMS/MMS messaging terms

By participating as a contributor and sending messages to Breadcrumb, you consent to receive transactional SMS/MMS messages related to the Service. Message frequency varies based on household activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of messages, and HELP for assistance. Opting out may limit your ability to contribute by text. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile information or SMS opt-in/consent data with third parties for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, harassing, or abusive content.
• Attempt to access households, timelines, or accounts that are not yours.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Breadcrumb a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for your household. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having any necessary permissions from people depicted in it.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breadcrumb is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
